Railway Employees Privilege Ticket Association (REPTA)
REPTA was established in 1893 to enable Railwaymen (and Women) to make best use of their Free and Privilege Tickets and Travel Facilities.
Although predominantly rail staff based, membership is open to all transport industry employees, both active and retired, and family members are also eligible to join; e.g. rail, road, bus, air, maritime and underground sectors. If in any doubt, please contact our Correspondence Secretary, Mr Colin Rolle or your nearest Area Secretary.
Your Repta Membership Card entitles you to Free Limited Personal Accident Insurance, with an age limit of 17 to 79 years, Free Staff Travel Card cover from the age of five years, with no upper age limit, and Free Cover for any validated non-refundable part of loss of deposit when booking with the Railway Convalescent Homes.
We produce a Yearbook annually, which gives details of all REPTA benefits.
REPTA around the UK
REPTA is a UK wide Association of Members based on four Area Councils, with an Area Council Secretary and Committee to look after the interests of their Members in each of the Areas. The Officers, Secretaries and Trustees of the Association are tasked with the day-to-day operation of REPTA and details are listed under Personnel.
If you wish to become a ‘local collector’ for which a small commission is paid on sales, please see Personnel page for your nearest contact.
